What a high privilege, getting to be a part of this sensational, styled wedding put on by Art of Luxury; I’m not sure I will ever recover from the Mykonian magic created here at Kalesma. I am completely captivated by this venue, this island, and the impeccable talent of the creative team who brought it to life! If you’ve been digging through Pinterest, wedding mags, and fashion editorials to inspire your own celebration, look no further: this luxury Kalesma Mykonos wedding is the embodiment of a Greek destination wedding dream come true.
A Luxury Destination Wedding at Kalesma Mykonos
Each and every moment of this chic Kalesma Mykonos wedding was more jaw-dropping than the last, centered on an Ancient Greek theme that let the island speak for itself.
As a photographer who draws much of her creative inspiration from the world of fashion, I was thrilled that styling took center stage for this wedding—from the veil to the gown, the abundance of glistening pearls to the striking bouquet of white florals. Shades of white were eye-catching against the iconic blue and white Cycladic architecture that painted the hillside; the bride’s dress a slight cream tone, and the groom’s suit a clean, stark white. Minimalist, elegant fashion choices were made even more enchanting by the staggering floral design conceptualized & executed by Petridis—brimming with vibrant shades of amaranth, cranberry, and vivid pinks. A true work of art!
The bride and groom made their way through the venue as performers played romantic string music in the background, every space dripping in luxury and opulence of the highest degree. Dyed amaranthus and white orchids filled the indoor ceremony site, and covered the circular tablescape alongside bright anthuriums, sparkling glassware, oyster & pearl motifs, and pale blue linens. Obsessed wouldn’t even begin to cover it… and I haven’t even mentioned the Ancient Greece-inspired bust vases, or the horse that the bride and groom got to spend time with.
This creative team went above and beyond in EVERY sense of the phrase, and I’m eternally grateful to have been a part of it 🤍💙
