One that reflects the beauty, abundance, and renewed life that comes with the spring season—perfectly symbolic for the beginning of their journey as a married couple, no? Extremely grateful to have been a part of the most beautiful celebration for one fo the sweetest couples I’ve ever worked with!

A picturesque spring day at Chateau Lill
There’s nothing like a sun-soaked day at a gorgeous French chateau, surrounded by the humans you love most amidst rolling farmland, enchanting gardens, and old-world architecture reminiscent of eras past. Especially when that day is your wedding day! Jesuseme and Phillip tied the knot on the most magical spring day in May, flowers and greenery coming back to life and warm sun shining down through the endless trees that covered the grounds. Chateau Lill will forever be a favorite venue of mine to work at thanks to the incredible canvas it provides for all different types of weddings, from laid-back, intimate gatherings to elegant black-tie events like the one Jesuseme and Phillip planned.

Whimsical spring blooms + lush greenery galore
Jesuseme and Phillip envisioned a day that embraced an understated, effortless elegance; one that was high-end, sophisticated, and classy without feeling stuffy or forced—and I’d say that their decor + florals contributed in large part to achieving this. While guests were dressed in black-tie attire and looked like they could’ve come straight from a red-carpet gala, the floral arrangements provided by Bloom Brats Botanical conveyed a soft, gentle luxury that spoke for itself, requiring nothing too over-the-top or complex to be beautiful. Burgundy and cream-colored amaranthus cascaded down the couple’s ceremony arbor; pink and white hydrangeas added fullness to every piece, alongside a blend of smaller, more delicate blooms to balance them out. Sprigs of greenery made every single arrangement—from the aisle of the ceremony to the tables of the reception—feel organic, wild, and whimsical. Consider me completely obsessed!
Verdant gardens and sun-drenched cedars
After a meaningful morning getting ready alongside family and friends, and a sweet first look for just the two of them, Jesuseme and Phillip made their way down the aisle for the most STUNNING garden ceremony. I adored the small touches they made to customize this ceremony and elevate the details just a tad, using ornate gold frames to hold both their seating chart and their “unplugged ceremony” sign—you’d be surprised at just how much little details like this can make such a huge difference in your day! The cedar trees at Chateau Lill are absolutely glorious, and are basically begging for wildly-in-love couples to get married underneath their branches. And these two enhanced the natural beauty of the landscapes even more with a striking ceremony arch decorated in full greenery + florals. . . to die for.
The most fashionable wedding guests I ever did see
If I could only make one statement about this wedding, it’s that the guest fashion was UNREAL. Each and every guest took the black-tie dress code and made it their own, from bejeweled dresses and oversized sunglasses to sparkling hairpieces, ruffled gowns, and patterns + textures galore. Every single photo I took from cocktail hour through to the end of the night featured at least one guest in a killer outfit. . . I simply could not get enough! What a glorious way to end the day, getting down on the dance floor with your new spouse and allll of your loved ones in the same room, looking like absolute stunners. More fashion-forward wedding guest attire, please and thank you!
