Dress shopping was by far one of my very favorite parts of planning our wedding—it’s often something that we dream of as children, and when it comes time to finally try on those dreamy gowns, you feel like absolute royalty. You deserve to have the most top-tier, luxurious dress shopping experience possible, so today I’m showcasing 8 of my favorite Seattle bridal boutiques that do a killer job of serving their clients above and beyond, every step of the way. From high-end bridal salons, to intimate boutiques, to eco-conscious consignment shops, you’ve got plenty of options in this fabulous city!

The Dress Theory is where I actually got my own wedding dress, so it definitely holds a special place in my heart. This award-winning, luxury bridal boutique is hands-down one of the top wedding dress shops in Seattle, with a team that is so dedicated to helping each and every bride find a dress they not only love, but a dress that feels right. A dress that feels like them. When you book an appointment at the Dress Theory, you’ll receive a collection curated entirely to your unique style, wedding, preferences, and personality including a range of gowns from all sorts of incredible designers. If you’re scrolling through these images and wondering why you’re getting a slight hint of European fashion, you’re right on the dot—the Dress Theory team travels to Paris and Barcelona just to hand-pick styles to bring back to the U.S. for their brides in Seattle, as well as to their shops in Nashville and San Diego! Here’s what their full styling process looks like: you’ll first have a pre-appointment consultation with a stylist, who will learn more about what styles you’re interested in, as well as practical things like timeline, sizing, and pricing. Their collection includes all sorts of independent designers from around the world, from made-to-order Vera Wang pieces to off-the-rack gowns from Daughters of Simone.
When it comes time for your appointment, you have the opportunity to bring along a few special guests of your choosing, who the team will get to know right away. You’ll be taken into the showroom to select the dresses you’d like to try on, and will have help from a stylist, as well, who will help you find the right ones during your fitting. Appointments are required, as a&bé prides themselves on delivering a top-notch experience to every bride and their special guests. You’ll be able to schedule a 90-minute private bridal appointment with a dedicated stylist, who will support you through the process of not only picking your dress but also completing the look with accessories. They’ve also got quite the selection of off-the-rack gowns that are ready to be taken home as-is, if you’re looking for a lower budget option.
