This bridal photoshoot at the Four Seasons Seattle was a true collaboration in every sense of the word, bringing together a group of some of the most talented creatives and artists in the city to execute a one-of-a-kind wedding design. After endless dreaming and planning, sending vision boards back and forth + spending far too long picking out the right colors, our vision came together— and I could not be more thrilled with the results. If you and your love have been searching for the perfect venue to host your luxury Seattle wedding, then look no further: the Four Seasons will always and forever be one of my top recommendations. I’ll let the images from this stunning bridal shoot speak for themselves 😉
The vision for this bridal shoot was to embody everything luxurious; to take the prestige of a venue like the Four Seasons and elevate it even further with a bit of a modern twist. We wanted it to be the epitome of prestige, elegance, and glamor, showcasing the beautiful minimalism of neutral tones, the importance of textures, and the contemporary atmosphere of the hotel.
What I loved so much about this shoot design by Émerveillé Events (who I did a brand shoot with not long ago!) was that it was really brought to life by textures: it was the perfect example of how simplicity absolutely does not have to be boring. Instead of designing a centerpiece showcasing only one color, one texture, one height, she and her team imagined a much more creative design featuring textures and materials of all kinds, working together to create one seamless, contemporary look. I was in awe of the way she used a combination of both organic and geometric shapes to create effortless balance, somehow making soft curves, harsh edges, solid surfaces, and rippled patterns flow together seamlessly.

Once our fabulous model, Sarah, was all dolled up in her first bridal look, the rest of this shoot was spent simply exploring everything that the Four Seasons had to offer. We started with an elegant bridal look in the Four Seasons Ballroom, overlooking stunning views of Elliott Bay and the shining blue Seattle skies we were so lucky to have on this winter day. My favorites from this portion of the shoot: the soft glow of the candlelight, the floral arrangement inside of the bright white bust, the custom columns, and the champagne tower, of course!
We then swapped Sarah’s elegant gown for a couple of roaring 20’s-inspired bridal looks, as we made our way into Goldfinch Tavern for some elevated restaurant portraits. It’s nearly impossible to choose a favorite look from this day, but if I absolutely had to, it would be one of these two—the glitz + glam mixed with the sultry tavern ambiance was simply to die for! Sarah’s loose updo, her chunky pearl earrings, the short dresses reminiscent of 1920’s flapper gowns; this photographer was over the moon for every single second of it. Who knew one could look SO dazzlingly beautiful while lounging around in a restaurant booth, sipping on a delicious cocktail? Still not sure if this was actually real life, or a scene from some sort of iconic, Gatsby-esque movie. . .
After a quick walk through the lobby to snap some images on the staircase, we made our way outside to the pool deck for the final setup of the evening: golden hour bridal portraits overlooking the scenic Elliott Bay. The lighting was a DREAM; I still can’t get over the way it shone through the tablecloth, through Sarah’s veil, and against the soft whites of the cake! There is truly nothing better than a spectacular sunset over the Seattle skyline, especially when you have a drop-dead gorgeous bride in the foreground 💛
Beyond grateful to have been a part of this phenomenal shoot alongside so many talented Seattle artists + wedding vendors!
