You all know that there is simply NOTHING I love more than a stylin’ couple in love who wants to celebrate their day their own way, invest in the little details that best represent their love story, and are ready for a leisurely stroll through the vibrant streets of a big city – a description that fits Heaven & George oh so perfectly. This luxury city elopement on the streets of downtown Seattle was unforgettable; from the panoramic city views we enjoyed from the top of Smith Tower, to the coordinated details throughout their outfits, to the Vogue-esque portraits in the heart of the city, I’m still obsessing over every minute of it. Now let me show you why ✨
What more could a gal ask for? I spent the day wandering the streets of Seattle with Heaven and George, who drew the attention of absolutely EVERY person they walked by – I know I say that I’ll make every one of my couples look like celebrities, but these two took it to a whole new level. Heaven showed up in the most glamorous of gowns, a strapless, knee-length beauty featuring one of my favorite accessories I’ve ever seen a bride wear: an oversized satin bow draping down to the floor. I mean – what a BOMBSHELL. I’ll never get over her or this glorious dress.
I’m also in love with how Heaven kept her bridal look so simple yet so glam, leaving her neckline & collarbone bare, but adorning a glistening pearl headband that truly was the star of the show. The chunky pearls in the middle blew me away and made for such a dazzling piece of accent jewelry – add that to her sparkly pearl, sheer heels and I still have not picked my jaw up off the damn floor.
I will never be able to rave enough about this luxury courthouse bridal look, but let’s move onto George for a minute – because he absolutely killed the fashion game, too! He sported a classy navy blue suit, white undershirt, and periwinkle blue tie, paired with a brown belt & shoes for a little neutral pop. These two looked like something straight off the cover of Vogue magazine in every damn shot and you BET I took full advantage🔥
Oh, and lest I forget the bright pink Coach bag Heaven toted for this elopement – what a way to absolutely show up & show OFF on the city streets! The thing about me is I will *lose my mind* when you show up having coordinated your cute accessories, so you bet I had to include an entire section of photos of this poppin’ pink Coach bag💎
That’s enough gushing (for now) about these beauts – let’s take a minute to admire the gorg portraits we snapped at the top of Smith Tower’s iconic observatory! The curved glass windows make for such a unique backdrop & way to witness the Seattle city skyline, and they add the most effortless layers of texture to every photo. You’d think these two strolled around the top of a skyscraper in high-fashion outfits every day 😉
We made our way inside to the Observatory Bar for a couple of drinks, toasting to the lovely day & the even lovelier couple. I absolutely love the fact that you can enjoy the panoramic views of the city from atop the tower and sip on yummy drinks to celebrate!
To wrap up the day, Heaven took off two sections of her pearl headpiece & threw on an exquisite salmon-pink coat that, of course, perfectly matched her Coach bag 👛 We love a coordinated queen! After snapping some quick photos in the elevator & hallways of Smith Tower, we headed to one of my favorite areas of Seattle, Pioneer Square, for some portraits of these two casually sauntering along the brick streets – looking like they were plucked right out of a Nicholas Sparks novel. I am SO here for the couples who want their day to be full of romance, dreams, and a little bit of glitz & glamor✨

Smith Tower makes for such a fabulous spot for portraits on your elopement day, but it can also serve as a full-on wedding venue if you’re dreaming up a bigger day at an iconic Seattle landmark! Located right on Second Ave, Smith Tower was actually the very first skyscraper in Seattle & has remained a total icon over the years, featuring not only some of the best panoramic views that the city has to offer, but also an abundance of breathtaking architecture, an open-air observation deck, and that speakeasy-style bar I mentioned earlier.
Pop by Smith Tower on your way to the courthouse if you’re having a private elopement – grab a drink & snack on the locally-inspired shareable plates at the bar, and walk through the historical exhibits to learn a bit more about the tower’s history.
Or if you’d like to host your wedding guests for a marvelous evening at Smith Tower, you can use the Observatory & spacious Lookout Lounge for a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable evening overlooking the city. I highly recommend the tower as a reception venue for an intimate gathering of all your favorite people – you can learn more about what Smith Tower has to offer for weddings here!
