There’s so much I want to say about this beautiful wedding I shot for Chelsea & Bobby last summer, so wish me luck as I try to fit it all in this post! These two dreamed up the most fabulous elegant-boho Five2Five wedding in Buckley, WA at one of the absolute most gorgeous venues in the area, and the way they brought their vision to life was just marvelous. Let’s just say that by the end of this post, you’re going to be OBSESSED with Bobby’s shoes and head-over-heels in love with Chelsea’s boho-glam bridal look🤩
A Beautiful Boho Wedding With a Touch of Glam
A story of childhood sweethearts making it all the way
Yes, you heard me right – Chelsea & Bobby are childhood sweethearts. What more did I need to hear before absolutely falling in love with THEIR love? I had the honor of photographing their smaller ceremony with just family in Tacoma back in 2021, and then getting to document their big celebration in 2022 at Five2Five. Family was super important to these two, so I am SO glad they got the opportunity to celebrate first with their closest loved ones, then with a bigger group of everybody they cared about ❤️And this was a family affair from the guest list all the way to the actual setup of the day – Chelsea’s mom actually catered their delicious meal! Add that to the fact that Chelsea created her OWN bouquet, and you’ve got one talented family.
The outfits
What better way to kick off your big day than by gathering with your most loved people & getting ready alongside them? Bobby looked dapper as all hell in a striking, cream-colored suit jacket paired with black pants, a classic black bowtie, and the COOLEST shoes I have ever seen. Bedazzled with spiky rhinestones and sparkling in the sunshine thanks to the glitter covering their surface, these shoes were no doubt the star of the show & the highlight of Bobby’s outfit.
Moving on to Chelsea – AKA the boho glam queen of the century! This knockout chose an absolutely breathtaking dress with off-the-shoulder straps, a classic sweetheart neckline, and glittering floral lace covering the bodice. But the fun didn’t stop there – this magical gown continued down, down, and down with layers & layers of tulle, ending in a stunning, flower-covered train that paired oh-so-beautifully with her floor-length veil. I absolutely LOVED the way this gown brought heaps of elegance with its trumpet silhouette & glitzy patterns, yet also offered a touch of boho style with the off-the-shoulder sleeves and the chunky lace patterns.
The decor
Chelsea & Bobby have nothing short of *impeccable* taste, as you can probably tell already from the few photos you’ve seen so far. Their wedding was filled with the most gorgeous bohemian-glam decor from the pampas grass-filled floral arrangements & vases lining the aisle, to the macrame pieces hanging behind them at the altar, to the gorg cream, beige, & deep red/pink color palette. Add that to some lovely colored glassware, fringe pillows, and plenty of candles to warm up the atmosphere & you’ve got one hell of a day!
The celebration
After a sentimental ceremony under the gorgeous gazebo on the property, Chelsea & Bobby snuck out with me at sunset for some sunset portraits, where the sun was absolutely showing OFF – just look at those drops of light showering over the already-shining couple!
Once we had wrapped up their portraits, Chelsea changed into a totally badass white jumpsuit on her way to dance the night away alongside her new hubby & all of their friends and fam. I LOVED the dance floor at this venue with the disco balls, the party lighting, and the sheer amount of space everyone had to celebrate! It was the perfect way to wrap up a phenomenal day celebrating Chelsea & Bobby.

About Five2Five, a Picturesque Wedding Venue South of Seattle
Now I can’t leave you without telling you a little bit about Chelsea & Bobby’s wedding venue of choice, Five2Five in Buckley, WA – because it provided the most perfect setting for their big day, and who knows? It might be the one for yours, too!
Five2Five is a year-round wedding venue nestled right in the foothills of Buckley, about an hour drive south of Seattle. Take it from their website – “Our intimate yet grand setting offers unique harm, refined rustic style, and a true Pacific Northwest vibe.” Sounds lovely to me! One of the reasons I loved this venue was the fact that it has both indoor & outdoor spaces that offer plenty of room for customization & creativity, so that you can truly design the unique day of your dreams. Plus, it means you won’t have to worry about the PNW rain getting in the way of your big day!

Five2Five can comfortably accommodate 175 guests in the indoor hall, and 200+ guests on the 2-acre lawn.
