When I say this styled shoot by the Shootout Society BLEW me away, I mean it blew. Me. Away. The Emerald Forest is the most magical PNW spot to elope and the best part is that it’s just a quick trip from Seattle – but we’ll get into that more later! An Enchanting Treehouse Elopement in the PNW Woods

The fabulous models for this shoot, Taylor & Drew, breathed LIFE into every inch of the vision that the planning team had for it: a magical, fairytale-esque treehouse elopement in the woods, complete with twinkle lights at every turn, organic + textural floral arrangements that brought out the natural beauty of the woods, and the most fun, lowkey celebration vibes. Nothing huge or fancy here – just two lovebirds frolicking through the PNW forest, Drew, in a rockin’ burgundy suit that went beautifully with the surrounding greenery, and Taylor shining in a dress brimming with sparkles & sequins. 

The open back of Taylor’s dress created an elegant yet breathable look, paired with the clean, semi-sweetheart neckline & bejeweled spaghetti straps lining her shoulders. And that TRAIN? Whewwww. Next to Drew’s rich, burgundy suit & coral tie, these two looked like movie stars bringing a touch of luxury into the natural scenery of the wooded landscape.

We spent time with these two wandering through the woods, weaving through the towering trees, taking our time with stops along the way to snatch a few kisses and take in the awe-inspiring scenery around us. The simple arch was a highlight of the entire setup, decorated with massive floral installations filled with wildflowers & bushy greenery that blended in perfectly with the forest backdrop. Every element, every detail – from the flowers, to Taylor’s jewelry, to the gorgeous stationery, to the band playing during their first dance – was simply stunning & filled with so much intention!

Now that I’ve spent enough time ogling at these two gorgeous humans, it’s time we transition our focus to ogling at this VENUE. Because what a magical, magical setting – luxury treehouses in the forests of the PNW for you to elope at? Yes, please!

The Emerald Forest is a wedding & elopement venue located 10 minutes from the town of Redmond, WA, just 30 or so minutes from Seattle, depending on good ol’ city traffic. Meaning it is the perfect venue for couples who are looking to elope in the Seattle area, and maybe want to hold their ceremony + reception in a magical fairytale land in the forest, then head back to Seattle for a celebratory night out on the town.

With a whole 30 acres of tranquil, breathtaking forest, the backdrop that the Emerald Forest can provide for your elopement is unlike any other venue in the area. Lounge in the dream nets hanging between trees, sit around the campfire & make s’mores before your guests leave, or enjoy the 450 square-foot insulated yurt for an intimate elopement dinner party.

You’ll even get to spend the night in the luxurious wood treehouse, which has its own suspension bridge for access, a private hot tub, a surprisingly spacious living room + loft, and even a small kitchenette! Enjoy a complimentary breakfast served via a zipline from the main house – yes, I said a zipline.

The venue even houses its own outdoor, climb-in movie theater (yes, climb-in), which boasts a large seating area for you and your guests, multiple loungers in the trees, two stories of hammock-esque dreamnets in the trees, and a screen. At the end of the night, gather around with your family and friends to watch a slideshow of photos/videos from throughout your relationship, or if you’re eloping in private, take advantage of the screen & play videos that your loved ones pre-record for you to send you well-wishes.

Let’s talk numbers: wedding & elopement packages at the Emerald Forest begin at $4,999 + tax for a five-hour rental period. No matter which package you select, your package will include:

• Access to the outdoor theater
• Yurt (commonly used as a bridal suite)
• Tipi (commonly used as a groom’s suite)
• Gazebo
• Barbeque
• Two firepits
• Venue attendant
• Tables & chairs

You can even add day-of coordination if you’d like some help bringing it all together, and you can book a night in the luxury treehouse if you inquire early enough in advance!
