We often think of elopements as having to take place outdoors, somewhere deep in the tranquil wilderness, but we all know that’s not for everyone. You can still create the intimacy of an elopement within the hustle and bustle of the city. This Smith Tower elopement in Seattle is a stunning example of how your special day can come to life in a chic and stylish manner.

I pulled together this styled shoot at the top of Smith Tower with the help of my friends, Ryan & Maria, to paint a picture for the couple that still wants to keep their day small & intimate but feels more at home in the city than in the wilderness. For the couple with impeccable style that is enchanted by the city lights and skyline views.

She later transitioned into her jaw-dropping, sparkling, second bridal look as we headed down to capture photos in the STUNNING elevator bank of the Smith Tower. The Smith Tower building is so intricate and ornate that it acted as the perfect backdrop for this city elopement. Ryan & Maria’s styling for this elopement screams “Power Couple” and I took that as inspiration for all of their posing.
